The first key is to have a firm mattress for back pain (without a pillow-top). Next is to use a <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/sleep-ez-adjustable-pillow-1/">pillow</a> that’s high enough so that your whole spine and head are in a neutral position. <div class="MsoNormal">
Workstation ergonomics are all about creating the least
possible stress on your body by your chair and then your keyboard height
respectively. Below are the steps on how to do this in the right order.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Most people set up their workstation by choosing their desk first
and then their chair. They adjust their chair to fit their desk and have little
concern about the computer keyboard height. This is all mixed up and without a strategy.
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Our goal is to have minimal body stress and to be able to
test each additional factor as you add it. To do this you need the chair to be right
first; only then can you set your keyboard to the right height. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Start with a good office chair. <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/which-ergonomic-office-chair-is-best-for-back-pain/">(Here is an article about what makes the best ergonomic chairs)</a>. You need to be able to sit <b>upright</b> comfortably. Basically,
improper seat height causes forward or backward lean of your body. Test this (and
every other step along the way) by sitting there breathing deeply and then
allowing your body to slump as you let it out. If your breathing is restricted
or your body does actually slump forward then adjust your chair height until these
are as good as they can be. These are
actually signs that your body is under extra stress while sitting. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Once your chair ergonomics are correct then you can work on ergonomic
desk height and keyboard placement. Sit at your desk with your hands on your
lap and do the deep breath test. Then
put your hands on the desk top and do the same thing. This is an indicator of
ergonomics in action. </div>

<div class="MsoNormal">

Place a magazine on the desktop and place your hands on it.
Test your breathing again. If it keeps getting better as you add magazines then
go up until it starts to get worse and then go back to the last height where it
was doing good. This is where the desktop should be for you. If you do a
significant amount of keyboard work, then this is the height that the keyboard
should be. If you need to raise the height of a desk then it can be done by placing
appropriate height boards under the legs. </div>

If your breathing never got better than when your hands were
at the height of the desktop then your desk may be too high for you. Place a

legs or get a lower desk. </div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/oPw6BoXIMnQ?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you are one of the many people who get back pain while driving then there are a few simple things you can do to ease your pain:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<ol style="text-align: left;">
<li>Be sure your car seat is adjusted correctly. </li>
<li>Use a seat wedge in your car seat. </li>
<li>Get out as often as you need to and do this simple but effective exercise while leaning against your car. </li>
</ol>
<div>
To adjust your car seat for the best posture bring your seat back into a comfortable and more upright position. Adjust the car seat so that the part under your knees is not pressing up into the back of your thighs. If this does push into your legs then it actually causes your back to slump and cause discomfort. Also, if you have an adjustable lumbar support in your car then <u>back it out and don't use it</u>! Contrary to popular thought, putting something in the small of your back while sitting actually causes stress points in different areas of your back and neck resulting in discomfort there.</div>
</div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: right; margin-left: 1em; text-align: right;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><span style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/sit-ez-orthopedic-support-seat/"><img alt="" border="0" height="244" src="http://cdn1.bigcommerce.com/server1900/af943/products/30/images/205/IMG_9725_corrected__72737.1367897921.427.550.jpg" title="Sit EZ" width="320" /></a></span></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/sit-ez-orthopedic-support-seat/">Sit EZ Orthopedic Support Seat</a></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As for seat wedges, I like the one I designed the best (no surprise there!) because it gives great support and fits well into most car seats. The right effect of a car wedge like this is to bring your hips just slightly above your knees. This positions your hips and your back (and even your neck) for the <u>least</u> possible stress while sitting.<br />
<br />
The video above shows an exercise that I have taught to many patients. It can ease back stress when on the road. It also works well to wake you up because it pumps nutrients around your brain.<br />
<br />
Happy traveling!<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Window graphic showing symptoms arising from poor posture</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Your posture is a measure of how well your body resists gravity while sitting, standing, or lying down. You can better your posture by understanding what affects it and by simply fixing a few things that make it worse.<br />
<br />
According to the <a href="http://my.clevelandclinic.org/healthy_living/Back_health/hic_Posture_for_a_Healthy_Back.aspx" target="_blank">Cleveland Clinic</a> look at these effects of bad posture:<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Keeps bones and joints in the correct alignment so that muscles are being used properly.</li>
<li>Helps decrease the abnormal wearing of joint surfaces that could result in arthritis.</li>
<li>Decreases the stress on the ligaments holding the joints of the spine together.</li>
<li>Prevents the spine from becoming fixed in abnormal positions.</li>
<li>Prevents fatigue because muscles are being used more efficiently, allowing the body to use less energy.</li>
<li>Prevents strain or overuse problems.</li>
<li>Prevents backache and muscular pain.</li>
<li>Contributes to a good appearance.</li>
</ul>
These effects of bad posture are what made me a very busy chiropractor for over 30 years; less busy when patients followed my advice which I wrote up for them in “<a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/posture-guides/">Owner's Manual For The Body</a>”:<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: right; margin-left: 1em; text-align: right;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmtUucrK676MUV-MoDmSQowin_d5WoLKHqHVt00_4C6hJvrhk9zvu85QTY9a8twVTdCh_1o3c3WkeMFYWBOk-Mw_AT45BLbkcyuD1EE4bm3EjL8XT5OplW9v277JelsP0Q8PR5vwCio_Nu/s1600/neg+heel+shoe+email+large.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="172" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmtUucrK676MUV-MoDmSQowin_d5WoLKHqHVt00_4C6hJvrhk9zvu85QTY9a8twVTdCh_1o3c3WkeMFYWBOk-Mw_AT45BLbkcyuD1EE4bm3EjL8XT5OplW9v277JelsP0Q8PR5vwCio_Nu/s320/neg+heel+shoe+email+large.jpg" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Shoe with a "rockered" toe</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<ol style="text-align: left;">
<li>To ease back pain symptoms there are a few simple <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/">posture support products</a> that can help which are consistent with correcting back posture.</li>
<li>To get good posture see a professional doing a posture corrective type of care. </li>
<li>In order to keep good posture learn what it means to stand, sit and sleep correctly and apply them.</li>
</ol>
<div>
As a to test this, just try standing and bending your toes like this shoe would do and feel what it does to your posture! After doing this do you think that wearing these shoes might affect your <b>posture and therefore your health</b>. This is an easy fix... don't wear shoes with toes that are up in the air.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There, your first lesson's over and it wasn't too painful but you did learn something that you can use to improve your health and your posture for the rest of your life - if you apply it.</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Finished chair</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
My mother recently
picked up a couple of new chairs. Since I want to have someplace I enjoy
sitting when I visit her I needed to do some light chair remodeling.</div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
Keep in mind that
the <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/sitting/">best way to sit</a> is
with your hips slightly higher than your knees. Very seldom do I find any chair
that puts me in this position and I have <span style="font-weight: bold;">never</span>
found a casual chair that does - without changing it a bit.</div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
These are the steps
I took on my mother's chairs and they will work for most others:</div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<b style="font-size: 11pt;">Step 1:</b><span style="font-size: 11pt;"> use the seat cushion as a template to draw it's shape on a piece of plywood.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<b>Step 2:</b> cut the
plywood about 1/2" inside the template drawing where the<span style="font-weight: bold;"> sides and back</span> of the cushion are. At the front of the cushion, I took several
inches off of the plywood because this would have hit the front edge frame and
made the front too high. </div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: right; margin-left: 1em; text-align: right;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy0Om4IbJCcOZXqfQwLxgEzBAOhGi2ymghOy79dh_E2EVAd_fAXut40fMlGzfAqBMcRX8zs-fW4G6FOhRxkUcXQgE0dkbCkLHVe8Cy4LJLUGxoPk54K8TPFKESyEGfaMCWJU3yLRlKJk-j/s1600/chair+fig.+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="Repairing a chair" border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy0Om4IbJCcOZXqfQwLxgEzBAOhGi2ymghOy79dh_E2EVAd_fAXut40fMlGzfAqBMcRX8zs-fW4G6FOhRxkUcXQgE0dkbCkLHVe8Cy4LJLUGxoPk54K8TPFKESyEGfaMCWJU3yLRlKJk-j/s320/chair+fig.+2.jpg" title="Repairing a chair" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Spacer used to lift the plywood in the back</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<b>Step 3:</b> Place
something of about the right height underneath the back of the plywood. Here I
used a foam pad that's used for kneeling on when gardening. This has worked out
to be a good height on several of the chairs I have done this to. </div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
Once you put the
cushion back on you could never tell by looking at the chair that anything is different about it. But what a difference it makes in your body. When you have the
height just right then your back doesn't have any stress on it. You can sit
there for a long time and then get up easily from the chair. You hardly notice
you are sitting at all.</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Broken down shoes look fine on the outside</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
I see a big problems
when people's shoes break down INSIDE, where they don't see it. The problem is that they affect your posture in
a bad way - long before they actually show signs of wear. The abnormal change
in your posture can lead to neck and back pain. Truthfully, if you wear your
shoes much, you're likely to only get about 3 months out of a pair of typical
sneakers before they are too broken down INSIDE to support you right.</div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
I have seen too many
people need to get treated extra times simply because their shoes were worn out
and this messed with their body. I would always tell them about it, and some
would listen. Others thought they were saving money by getting more mileage out
of their shoes. It was amazing to watch these patients come in and pay for
extra treatments (sometimes many) instead of springing for a new pair of shoes
and saving their money. </div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
The thing to
remember is that if your body starts hurting for no apparent reason then broken
down shoes may be the cause. You may still need an adjustment from your
chiropractor, because by the time you feel the symptoms, your shoes have
already messed with your body. Just replace your shoes as well and don't forget
to <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Standing-Products/">fix the insides</a> of your new ones. </div>

Wow! Listen to what this doctor talking about posture in "Your body language shapes who you are."<br />
<br />
It's about more than what we communicate to others through our posture... though we know this is true; it's about how our posture and body language changes our mind.<br />
<br />
She tells you how to make "Tiny Tweaks" to make "BIG CHANGES" in how you think, feel, and act.<br />
<br />
I would simply add to this to do all you can, all the time, to get and keep your <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/">posture</a> pure. WHY NOT!?</div>

I had been seeing this patient for 6 months before I realized that he had never bought a seat cushion from me. As you can imagine, this is rare. For those of you who travel you know how hard it can be to remember to pick up your seat cushion every time you get up. When I traveled with my children we would play a game where I put a bounty on my seat cushion. If I ever got up and left it, they could get it for me and claim a dollar reward. Although most of the time I "lost" it on purpose, they did save it for me many times for real.</div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
HERE'S TODAY'S TIP: use something, like the lanyard above, to attach your seat cushion to your belt, purse, or briefcase. The lanyard picture above is also a link to purchase one at Amazon.</div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
In the picture of my <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/products/Sit-EZ-Orthopedic-Support-Seat.html">seat cushion</a> you can see that I attached my briefcase handle to the cushion. Then, as long as I don't leave my briefcase, I never leave my seat cushion behind.</div>

<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
I made this video of
a good vs. bad sitting posture chair tester (wow, what a mouthful!) as a quick
visual aid. Many of my patients over the years have paid me to fix things that
could have been prevented EASILY by just paying better attention to where they
were sitting. When this happens often enough then I know that I need a better
way of explaining it.</div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br class="Apple-interchange-newline" />I got this chair tester idea from a very good video that was over 10 minutes long but mine has the essence of it and it's only one minute.

Sorry about the
shoddy looking seat cushion at the end of the video but it was all I had

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: 11pt;">Last week someone asked me to recommend a camping mattress or pad to them. I came up with a few ideas but nothing that was really satisfactory. Then, when I was in Costco I saw these camping pads, and they jogged my memory.</span></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
About 2 years ago I was at a seminar in Chicago. A doctor brought in this self-inflating pad that was about 1 inch thick. I thought there was NO WAY this would work for <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/sleeping/">side sleeping</a>. I was very pleasantly made wrong.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
Looking at Costco's website I saw that the mat wasn't listed but I did find a similar one at Amazon.com, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QCIAB4/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B004QCIAB4&linkCode=as2&tag=ezpospro-20">ALPS Mountaineering Lightweight Series Self-Inflating Air Pad (Steel Blue, Short MC)</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=ezpospro-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B004QCIAB4" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" />.<span style="font-size: 11pt;"> It's a bit thicker and got great reviews.</span></div>

I have made a lot of money on this kind of chair (Figure 1). It definitely isn't <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Sitting-Products/">good for sitting posture</a>. I know it’s probably comfortable when you’re sitting on it but, I also know that you’ll pay for it later with back pain, neck pain, or a headache.</div>
<br />
Good sitting posture requires that your hips are a bit higher than your knees. Try one of these pop-out camping chairs (Figure 2) instead. It’s my go-to chair for camping, watching sports, or just sitting on the deck. It’s high enough that when I sit on it my hips stay up above my knees. <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NBED7W/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000NBED7W&linkCode=as2&tag=ezpospro-20">Picnic Time Portable Folding Sports Chair, Black, at Amazon.com</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=ezpospro-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B000NBED7W" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" /><br />

<br />
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
I have a patient I
want to mention - let's call her Mary.
I've been <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/pages/About-Us.html">treating</a> Mary for over a year with very good results. About 3 months
ago she started having pain in the front of her left shoulder that responded just
fine to treatment but then got worse again. This happened <u>every</u> time she got
treated. </div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
I know from the way
that her pain responds, that I am fixing what is creating the twist in her
shoulder that makes her hurt. Then she goes out and does something that's bad for her
body (sitting, standing, or sleeping) that<b><i> re-sets</i></b> the twist again. I have a gut feeling that her shoes are making her whole body worse.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
Take a look at these
sandals. She has been wearing these sandals since the weather got better a few
months ago and I suspect they are what is causing her body to reset itself all
the time. She says she doesn't believe that such a small <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Standing-Products/">support under the arch</a> could cause her arm pain. </div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; margin: 0in;">
Finally, Mary went
shopping and came in with 3 pairs of sandals, all of which should work great
for her. She is going away for a few
weeks and not taking her bad sandals with her (I hope). This should be a good
test.</div>

You can’t imagine how bad of a rap I have with my female patients. I am forever <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Standing-Products/">critiquing their shoes</a> – and believe me, this is like walking through the jungle, never knowing exactly where the danger is.<br />
<br />
Unfortunately, many of the shoes my women patients buy, they get unaccountably attached to. Getting them to let go is like prying water off of the sidewalk. I know going in that my chances aren’t real good.<br />

This picture is from sandals a patient wore the other day. I
knew we were about to have one of those moments. The problem is that these shoes are very good
in many ways (they always point this out to me). The <i><u>only</u></i> bad thing is bad enough to cancel out all the other good
things that these shoes do – and this isn’t fixable on these shoes.</div>

than the rest of the shoe. This was enough to distort her posture. After wearing
these for a several days in a row they caused her enough pain to need getting treated by me.

I was working on a patient today and looked over at her flip flops. I told her that I thought they looked really <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Standing-Products/">good for her posture</a>. She said they are Havaianas, from Brazil. I didn't realize it but Brazil is where Havaianas are made. <br />
<br />
The funny thing is that I called my wife and my daughter-in-law over to admire the Havaianas and they were both wearing Havaianas also! I know Havaianas cost more but my wife usually gets about 2 years of wear from a pair.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://d3vnak9c16q2tf.cloudfront.net/items/HavaianasWomens-Havaianas41033522358356_small_CATEGORY_82363.png"><img border="0" src="https://d3vnak9c16q2tf.cloudfront.net/items/HavaianasWomens-Havaianas41033522358356_small_CATEGORY_82363.png" /></a>I have been recommending <a href="http://www.amazon.com/s/?_encoding=UTF8&ajr=sabc&camp=1789&creative=390957&field-keywords=havaianas&linkCode=ur2&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Ahavaianas&sepatfbtf=true&sprefix=havaia%2Caps%2C174&tag=ezpospro-20&tc=1378235837054&url=search-alias%3Daps" target="_blank">Havaianas</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="https://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=ezpospro-20&l=ur2&o=1" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" /> to my patients for years. Most flip flops break down in a few weeks. In fact, last week, a patient of mine was wearing a pair of flips flops she had for 1 day - they were already wasted. The rubber had molded to her feet and they were disturbing her posture. <br />
<br />
Even though the Havaianas are slightly raised in the heel area than the toe area, we often put in <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/heel-chips/">heel chips</a> to give them a little more heel height.<br />

Some of the worst seats people have complained to me about are airline seats. The <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Sitting-Products/">sitting mechanics</a> they use are terrible for your body and cause a lot of discomfort.<br /><br /><div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Unfortunately there are too many things wrong with airplane
seats to fix everything but, there are a few tips I can give you that should find

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The first thing to do is to get your hips up so, you need to
sit on something. Try a <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/products/Sit-EZ-Orthopedic-Support-Seat.html">seat

you have with you. Next, you need to support your lower or mid back.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Take a look at the airplane seat in this picture. Notice in

If you love your mattress and dread the idea of traveling
and sleeping on different ones you aren’t alone. What makes a good night’s

Unfortunately, hotel mattresses get used hard and break down
fast. Someone once told me that the side closed to the bathroom gets used a lot
more than the other side so, in order to get the <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/luxuriously-firm-mattress/">firmest

<div class="MsoNormal">
This last week I have been visiting relatives and have been
on a ‘once proud’ firm mattress. Unfortunately, it isn’t very firm any more. It
took me 5 days to remember the hotel advice but eventually I did. I had to
rotate the mattress instead because there wasn’t enough room on the other side
to get around.</div>

Wow! Quite a difference. It was plenty firm enough so that I
could get my head at just the right height. I didn’t toss and turn at all last
night and felt much better this morning. What a relief.</div>

I talk often about how hard it is to find comfortable and <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Sitting-Products/">ergonomically correct chairs</a>. Here is an instance of very bad ergonomic seat design which
is possibly <i>intentional. </i>Looking at the picture below, a few things are noteworthy: </div>

first thought was that it isn't necessary for us to change how our mattress
looks. I figured that those who are buying our mattress are doing so because of
the <b><i>structural
</i></b>design and the quality of the materials we use to get the right
combination of firmness (which we know is necessary) and comfort. In other
words, <i>most of our buyers have been
referred to us by their doctors because our mattress is best for their body.</i>

<div class="MsoNormal">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
As I was driving away from the factory I thought… well, why
not? Why shouldn’t fashion appeal be important in the buyer’s decision also; especially
considering the competitiveness of mattress marketing? Our part of the mattress
market isn’t that competitive however, I still believe our buyers deserve the
best. So, I am going try one of the new mattress covers as a demo (as I always
do with anything new) and see if I notice any difference in sleeping on it. I
will post my results for you.</div>

<b>Welcome to my blog about posture. </b>By following my blog you will “learn to discern” about how <u>things</u> in your everyday life affect your posture and level of pain, and can alter your health. You are invited to ride along inside my mind to see how I look at shoes, chairs, pillows, beds and people with your structural health in mind. You will learn to figure out for yourself if the <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Sitting-Products/">places you sit</a> and <a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Sleeping-Products/">sleep</a> and the <span id="goog_539803529"></span><a href="http://www.ezpostureproducts.com/categories/Standing-Products/">shoes</a><span id="goog_539803530"></span> you wear are going to have a negative impact or a positive one on your pain level and your health.</div>
