Last week someone asked me to recommend a camping mattress or pad to them. I came up with a few ideas but nothing that was really satisfactory. Then, when I was in Costco I saw these camping pads, and they jogged my memory.
About 2 years ago I was at a seminar in Chicago. A doctor brought in this self-inflating pad that was about 1 inch thick. I thought there was NO WAY this would work for side sleeping. I was very pleasantly made wrong.
I'm not a small guy and I was fully supported by it when I was laying on my side.
